Family owned, walkable, and welcoming

A wonderful family run hotel just 15 minute walk to downtown Fira! My family stayed here on our first trip to Santorini, and was happy to be in walking distance to restaurants/tours if you can walk up the beautiful windy streets to downtown. The staff was great and very welcoming. The working donkeys of the island walk right by the hotel every morning, their bells jingling. We will stay here again.

Great time! We stayed in the upgraded room which had our own private pool and terrace. The staff were all amazing, the room was clean and spacious. Definitely felt like it had value for the money especially in Santorini. It was about a 10 minute walk to Fira but we liked that cause it was quieter around our hotel in the evenings. The staff also couldn't do enough for you. Would stay here again for sure.

We absolutely loved our time staying here! The lovely lady who served us gave us lots of recommendations and was really accommodating. The villa was beautiful, spacious and had great outdoor space for us to have our morning coffee/breakfast. We had cleaners who provided us with fresh towels/sheets every morning which was a lovely touch. It was also very close to the centre of Fira so it was easy for us to sightsee. The pool was so nice and quiet and we loved relaxing there in between sightseeing. It was slightly noisy as it was next to a road but other than that, I would definitely recommend staying here :)

A lovely friendly, quiet hotel

Hotel was in touch before our arrival and gave advice re buses etc. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was lovely with jacuzzi hot tub included. Breakfast was served continental style outdoors. Hotel was within easy walking distance of Fira and in a quiet neighbourhood

A quiet spot in Fira

Our stay at Alizea was mostly good. The customer service and communication was great. Offering a free simple breakfast everyday and daily housekeeping. Also organising transfers to and from the port. Unfortunately the internet did not work in our room and we had minimal to no phone reception. Usually this wouldn’t be a big problem but we paid extra for the luxury suite as Santorini was meant to be the relaxation portion at the end of our month long trip and intended to spend time in our room entertaining ourselves, but we ended up having to leave the room to contact friends and family etc. I will say Alizea were aware of this and tried to help by getting the wifi from a neighbouring hotel but unfortunately still didn’t work in our room.

This venue is close to the bus stop / a main road for cars/ATV rental. Clean & receptionist was so helpful and provided us with tips of the island. We did lounge by the pool for a couple hours each day because the pool isnt heated so it was too cold to swim in. Room size was large and clean. Only complaint is that the shower curtain doesnt keep the water from pooling into the rest of the bathroom floor and you end up with a large wet puddle around the toilet after showering. Would book here again for the value & convenience if taking public transit.

Best place in Santorini!

I highly recommend this place. They make you feel like a visitor coming home. They take care of EVERYTHING possible. Margo communicated with us through the App and set-up a surprise welcome drinks for my wifes bday. We traveled on her bday so when we arrived at Midnight, there was nothing we could do (not knowing many places were still open in the main area. Not close to the main sites but definitely book an ATV/Quad with them. They will arrange everything for you through a trust conpany (Super-Moto w/Spiri). We will stay here again and again. The room was large, bed was excellent, very clean, jacuzzi and pool is great! After our stay, they stored our luggage since we had a 10pm flight. They have a bathroom tucked away w/shower so we spent our last day at the beach and was able to return for a shower and change before going to the airport. 100% best accommodation ever, and we have been to 25 countries. This is the absolute BEST! Thank you so much Alizea staff and family. The pre-order breakfast kept us full all day. We loved it!
