If you’re looking for a chill experience, off the beaten path, this is the place. Beautiful, clean, peaceful, better prices and amazing view of the sunrise. I’d recommend a car if you’re staying here and they have an amazing parking lot

Hello. Location was good, Breakfast was good. Room very spacious. Floor was slippery with cleaning chemicals. Room had strong smell of fragrance chemical. It was hard to breath at first place. Floor was slippery and getting foam on barefoot when you walk after shower. Hot tub never worked in the room. Hopefully they learn customer service. Cleaning person did not stock towels next day.

We had a great stay at Amber Lights especially that it's our first time in Santorini. Everyday you get to witness the gorgeous views of the sun rising over the Agean sea. We also had a lovely breakfast buffet every day. Plus I love that you get a plunge pool or hot tub in or outside your room. Though I wasnt able to enjoy it much since the pool water was too cold for me. But its pretty for photos! Like the other comments though, the area is just a bit far from the touristy places of Oia and Fira. Yes, taxi is expensive so if you have 1 or 2 free days to explore more, better rent a car cause taxi rides costs 35euros per way or their Uber version is around 25 euros per way. While car rentals, depending on the car you want, costs only 30-60 euros per day.

Overall very depressing. The buffet was fairly good. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However the bathroom situation is awful. No fan felt like it was going to rain in there by day 2.

My friend and I have just returned home after a week at the Amber Light Villas. Santorini and the Amber Lights exceeded our expectations. The two bedroom villa we had was fantastic, so much room and a very generous outdoor space with great sun loungers and a hot tube. The Villas are located up in the hills and it was beyond peaceful and relaxing. It was great having a small hire car and we were able to travel around from there. It's only 10 minutes from Fira which is a great visit in the evenings. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough, it was fantastic.

Stunning view and size of the room is excellent. We were very disappointed upon our arrival that none of the promised amenities worked. The sauna in the room and sauna at the spa didn’t work, The temperature of the jacuzzi in the room and spa was set to lukewarm a totally out of our control. Breakfast was more like a cafeteria food quality. Definitely a management issue. It is out of nowhere. If you want to enjoy nature and silence, you might enjoy it. I missed the energy and was glad we rented a car to explore.
