"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. "This place is stunning, simply put. They thought of everything - none of the details were missed. Hairdryer in room, spacious bathrooms and spotless rooms, lovely breakfast included. The views, flowers, sounds of birds and refreshing pool are what makes this a special place. Very close to train station in Regua, with lots of restaurants close by."

"This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place."

"Amazing stay. Stayed four nights and eat at the restaurant twice for supper. First supper, cheek pork with varieties of veggies. Incredible. 2nd supper veal steak. Very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent wine made on property. Breakfast was all you needed and excellent. What you see on the photos is what you get. If I return to the Douro region, I would not hesitate to go back. Cheers"

"Absolutely breathtaking. The views, the location, the service, the food. I could write a novel and not capture everything. If you have an opportunity to book the Six Senses, do it!! You’ll be tempted to skip breakfast because you’re cocooned in the delicious bedding. Resist that temptation. The breakfast is extravagant."
