"What an awesome find. Small walk-up hotel with the friendliest staff, good beds, great breakfast, and convenient to Ponta Delgada, just a 15 minute walk. MY only concern would be finding parking in high season, but it was no problem for us in November."

"Very well situated and easy to access from airport and elsewhere. The Garden is simply amazing with breathtaking bird parades in the morning and evening. The food is of high quality especially the jams made by the chef. The gym is large and outdoor pool superb. A little bit more cleaning of windows and room bathtub would make it simply exceptional."

"It was a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything (questions/tours/car trouble). The views were incredible and we saw whales and dolphins from our balcony almost every night. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is beautiful. Place was so worth it"

"Overall, the property was Good: breakfasts, the dinner we had, the rooms were all as expected; the interior decor is good: the dining room had a display cabinet with an old radio set I remember from when I was a kid!! The location is a short walk (downhill) to the City Gates, good for buses, shops and marina with its shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we were in a street facing room where, on Wednesday night, we were woken up by music and what must have been karaoke at about 0130 (Thursday)....
