"Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. We booked a rook with river view but did not receive it. That all being said we did enjoy the place - but just beware or what is not accurate "

"Charming property with a beautiful view. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel "at home". The place is very clean! Tip: don't escape the breakfast: it is divine!!!!!! I cannot wait to go back! And yes, I will stay in the same location :)"

"Casa da Real Companhia was not what we expected, in any kind of way. Considering the fact that we stayed at a lot of local b&bs in the neighboring area, this was by far the worst experience. Their pictures does not capture the reality of the hotel and it’s location to the nearby surroundings. It is at the foot of very large apartment-building complexes. "The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. One doesn’t expecy 5 star luxury at a hostel, but overall it's very serviceable. We happened to arrive on the hottest day of the year and discovered there was no air-conditioning (pas de climatisation). Other than that inconvenience, everything was fine. Nice breakfast, and again, wonderful staff hosts."
