We took some time to absorb the atmosphere of this place while staying 3 nights for the XC World Cup. The Grand Ballroom with its Speakeasy bar and analog games, the fitness room… We loved it, and the restaurant dinners were also excellent and memorable.
Staff was helpful and restaurant was great. Room (a deluxe suite) was disappointing - very dark with no real windows, and no amenities typical of a suite (tiny fridge, no dishes m, silverware or glassware).

We were disappointed in our accommodations. Our room in the annex building had thin walls and we could clearly hear conversations and the barking dog. There was rust on the floor of the shower wall. There was no shelf to hold items personal care items in the bathroom. The circuit breaker kept tripping making the TV, refrigerator and microwave inoperable. There was no night maintenance person to help until one was called in. The solution was to move the microwave to another outlet, not in the same circuit. This event took a couple of hours to be resolved. The front desk was very accommodating through the whole process and gave us a $200 credit. Not what you expect for paying nearly $450 a night for 5 nights!
Drinks at the upstairs bar were wonderful. The whole hotel has undergone a huge transformation. We had dinner in the restaurant was also very pleasant. Big shout out to all the staff-from our check in to our happy hour and dinner all were very friendly and accommodating.
Room was small but very well appointed.
Our room had a nice view of St. Bernards Church and
Lake Flower beyond. Breakfast downstairs was excellent!!
The parking garage was also a pleasant surprise.
Car was nice and clean after the nights snow storm.
Can’t say enough good things.
The staff was AMAZING, from front desk to the Camp Fire restaurant- every single person was helpful and friendly. Loved having the suites in another building but still next to the parking garage and short walk to the main building- even in 24 degree weather it was a cinch. The digital key service was wonky and not effective, but having a physical key was nbd. Def stay again!!
The room was nice and spacious but did not have two bedrooms as I thought. It had one bedroom with two beds. Kitchen items were very nice also. Beautiful hotel
Despite platinum Expedia status, no room upgrade was offered at check-in and when I asked we were told no other rooms were available even though the couple in line behind us at reception were offered several alternatives. However, after mentioning this in a Hilton review we were offered a complimentary breakfast which was very kind of the hotel management and greatly appreciated by us.
Good view of the lake, parking garage next to hotel no charge, property in a nice area.

We didn’t like the fact that the suite section was not even in the same building. If you’re paying for a suite at $400+ there should be some convenience attached to it. We have stayed at Hilton hotels across the country and know that there is always shampoo and conditioner in the shower, well here they were all empty. Then went to use the keurig and there was a used pod in it still, but wasted my time even getting more coffee for it as it didn’t even work. And then to top it all off, when booking I paid for a buffet breakfast, that don’t even exist, but was offered an extremely expensive breakfast in which at that point they felt bad for us and just gave us the breakfast, which should have been free anyway due to awful taste of it. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again!!
