I had a great stay! The place was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful, a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food was also very good, with fresh options and great flavors. Overall, a lovely and pleasant experience!

Disappointing

Disappointing. The entire hotel was filled with plastic plants in a city desperately needing nature and life. The breakfast was mediocre and cold every day, the coffee like dishwater. The beds were soft foam mattresses that gave no support. The staff had no suggestions for activities in the town. The internet did not function in the rooms most of the time and was weak at best. The chairs in the balcony part of dining area are too low for the tables. Staff try but the facilities are inferior.

Awesome hotel, but quite a way from the centre. Listing states 0.4 miles. 2 miles at least !!! It's a 150 lek bus ride to "Planet Supermarket" bus stop, or a 1000 lek taxi fare. (100 lek = 0.75p)

The building is new, but the finishing of the construction was not quite well. Two things made us unpleasant while we were there. First was the bed, material of the bed was kind of latex, so the person like me more than 80kg had a back problem. Second thing was the smoking problem. It could be their cultural thing, but some boys constantly smoke in front of the reception, and all the smokes came into the hotel, even in the hallway of the 1st floor, where we were staying.

Hotel Blue Sky

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The area was pretty quiet, no bars/pubs or night clubs around, other than some restaurants. About 2-3 km to the promenade in the centre, which was quit more noisy and busy. Loved the Mango Beach, clean beach. Not sand, but fine, round gravel that was totally fine to step on. Took 7 min walk from the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, but not very smiling or sincerely friendly, did sadly not ecxactly feel very welcome. At the time we were there, there were few guests. The first morning, we asked the waiter to sit outside on one of the many available tables to eat breakfast (bf was good, btw), to which he said no. Then we pointed to the other side of the entrance and asked if we could sit there with even more tables, but still no, because "that was the bar area". We had to eat inside in the big dining room alone, which felt quite silly, considering us being almost alone at the moment. A few days later, 3 policemen came by the hotel. They were escorted right into the bar area and served breakfast right away. I guess their paying guests weren't as cool as 3 policemen, since they would let them and not us sit in the bar area...;) It would be very helpful for the hotel if the staff improved their English skills, especially considering that Albania is an up- and-coming vacation destination for the future, with more English speaking guests arriving. All in all, liked the room and liked Saranda.

Esperienze terribile.

Ho prenotato la suite di questo hotel 520 euro per 3 notti che doveva essere una suite. Ma abbiamo trovato una semplice camera con un frigo rotto e vuoto. Chiesto alla reception almeno di avere acqua da bere ma mi e stato risposto ce il bar sotto per bere.la camera e completamente diversa dalle foto .foto false sembrava completamente un altro hotel. Servizi pessimi. In bagno pieno di formiche e addirittura uno scarafaggio nero .dopo l'una di notte lacqua calda non ce piu per farsi la doccia.asciugamani sporchi lenzuola sporche con macchie gialle. Uscivamo la mattina per andare al mare e lasciavano il condizionatore acceso per trovare nel pomeriggio la camera fresca.invece la persona che puliva la camera lasciava la finestra aperta e condizionatore spento era un forno.la colazione terribile. Chiesto un espresso mi e stato chiesto di pagarlo extra. Questa sarebbe la suite???? Esperienza terribile. Ci siamo sentiti malissimo altro che vacanze. Volevamo cambiare hotel ma giustamente l'hotel non rimborsava.non hanno una spiaggia e neanche un servizio per le spiagge sotto. Le quali i accessi sono chiusi .non fidatevi delle foto ma controllate sempre i commenti di chi realmente ce stato.

Superfint rum med underbar utsikt! Det enda vi reagera på var att den ena typen av stolar inte fanns på balkongen vilket var lite tråkigt. Frukosten var inte något speciellt och var väldigt varierande då det ena dagen var helt okej och andra dagen var där knappt något och väldigt dåligt påfyllt. Där var personal 24/7. Läget var bra, lite utanför centrum men tog 10 min med taxi som kostar 1000lek, det finns restauranger och butiker nere på gatan och strand finns också nära. Saranda är en superfin stad och värd att besöka!

We didn’t have hot water during our stay, they said they’d have to call a plumber and didn’t offer us any alternative to shower. Also pretty far from the city center, restaurants, nightlife. There’s a pretty decent beach that’s walkable distance but not included as an amenity (personally have preferred places where it’s included). The staff also charged us at check-in for the room after we were already charged via Expedia and took 2days to get our money back. Was cheaper in person though…

Breakfast all the same each day with average choice of products. Lady at reception, manager and owner were really helpfull with solving our car problems and others. We had a room with nice sea view but from back side view isnt nice. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Plus for me its not in the city center so much more quite. If you cross the river there is much warmer water in the sea.

Das Hotel ist sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen und man konnte problemlos mit dem Bus so wollen nach Saranda Zentrum als auch nach Ksamil oder butrint für Kleingeld mit lokal Bus fahren. Personal ist sehr freundlich und Unterkunft in gesamt sehr sauber und in einem hervorragendem Zustand was allerdings zu bemängeln ist Licht auf die Balkone mit der mit der Einbruch der Dunkelheit automatisch angegangen und die ganze Nacht bis morgens um 7 durchgebrannt es gab keine Möglichkeit es von Zimmer aus auszuschalten und der Hotelpersonal konnte leider auch keine Abhilfe schaffen somit schlafen mit geöffnete Fenster bei absolut unmöglich und um die grelle Beleuchtung zu entgehen musste man komplett Rollos runterlassen und die Vorhänge zuziehen☹☹☹☹

Stay for 7 days . Very clean and everything looks brand new . I visited Sarande off season and there wasn’t many people around . The room was very nice and spacious, big bathroom and awesome shower . Breakfast was very good and staff was very nice ! I will definitely recommend this hotel . The view was spectacular !!!
