"The hotel room was clean and everything was where it should be. The pillows were iffy in texture but the mattress was really comfortable. I had to remove a bulb in the bathroom that was flashing. The front desk was a little overwhelmed (VERY busy weekend for them!) and didn’t seem interested in my explanation. I think one of the drawers in the closet may have been broken and the shower door did not stay closed. The counter in the kitchenette was also burned but again, minor details and the room was clean. Also, I’m not sure if it was because of the construction outside but upon returning to the hotel Saturday, throughout the day, the first floor smelled strongly of sewage. No bug signs in the room, large scary spider outside in the parking lot that didn’t want me to come inside but we negotiated and I was allowed in the building. I would have been happy to stay there again, however, at 10:30 (an hour and a half before check out) a man was pounding on my door yelling laundry. I was in the restroom, so I can only assume that if I’d been in the shower I wouldn’t have heard them and they would have walked in. Additionally, I had been assigned to a room for the hearing impaired; so I can assume that they were bypassing that protocol for the lights outside as well. It was honestly very jarring and as a woman staying alone, rather frightening. Additionally, as stated, it was an hour and a half before posted checkout times so it stands to reason I could have possibly been asleep."

"I have stayed here multiple times before and you get what you pay for. The cons in room 108. Cons.....The shower curtain either reaches one side of the tub or the other but not both so you have to choose which side will splash the least amount of water out the tub. The mattress has depression/hole in it right by the night stand where people obvious sit all the time. The TV is very very grainy and should be replaced. While there is mini refrigerator and microwave in the room there is NO coffee maker in the room. There is NO elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Pros......There is a restaurant right next door. The parking lot is very bright at night and feels secure Last but not least the price !"
