"Kinga was the most welcoming of hosts, she is creating a little patch of paradise and the cabana that we stayed in was blissful. Clean, comfortable, and with the most exquisite views to wake up to. Sad we were only there for one night, I could have stayed a month, thank you so much Kinga for your wonderful hospitality xx"

"The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make all our arrangements successful. We took day trips to town, went diving and snorkeling and took a ferry to Caye Caulker. The staff offers to book dives, arrange the taxi boat, will look up ferry schedules and have a golf cart delivered. The boat captains dropped us off directly at the ferry and dive shop, which was super nice. The resort is far but the boat taxis were key to making our trip enjoyable. Renting a golf cart was easy, the drive to town took 1 hour and was thrilling and hilarious how bumpy the road is. The 2 bedroom suite was amazing, plenty of room to relax, beds were comfortable and showers were hot. The food was pretty good, standing menu with specials that changed each night. Didn’t understand why reservations were needed for breakfast and dinner since meals were included in the package, we did our best to remember but definitely could sense the irritation when we forgot to make them. My only complaint and I hate to mention it, is the sargassum, it was so bad. Depending on which way the wind blew, it would smell up our room with rotting ferment which gave us headaches. Reef Haven’s at a disadvantage since it’s located in a cove, so it collects in masses and doubles daily, it requires early action to avoid the ferment and so much manpower to remove it. Overall, with exception of the smell it was a great experience to explore the island and meet the locals. "
"The hotel staff were fantastic and the view was beautiful. It was quite a ways from San Pedro town which limited dining options for us. The staff booked us a reservation at Mambo with a driver or boat pickup depending on the weather. The breakfast was good but very few options for dinner at the onsite restaurant. If I could do it again, I would rent a golf cart in town for the duration of our stay and book tours that picked us up at the resort dock."
"My family and I loved our stay at North Beach Retreat! It is right on a private beach, about 45 min away from San Pedro town. Very quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Norman and Yvonne were amazing hosts. They gave great insight about the island, were excellent chefs, and just very kind and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again!! "
"The room was clean. Ronna is very friendly and made lots of great recommendations. The location is a bit remote but that is what you should be going there for. A golf cart is a must. We stayed in March so the sargassum was a bit on the bad side, not that's any fault of the resort, just something to be aware of. A great place for peace and solitude. "
"My stay at La Beliza Resort was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to enjoy the sun without feeling crowded like we did at other places on the island.
There was some sargassum along the beach, but it was everywhere across Ambergris Caye and thanks to the staff working to clean it up every day, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Our trip highlights were visiting Secret Beach and snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and both are worth doing.
The staff at the resort did a great job coordinating and organizing tours. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing place to stay."
"We stayed 5 nights at Casa Nova Cabanas and had a fantastic experience! The property hosts, Keila and Jaime are incredible- they absolutely made our stay very enjoyable. The property is clean, quiet and very comfortable- offering 4 units on the main level (2 facing the water and 2 inward facing) plus a larger suite with kitchen on the 2nd floor of the main building. As well there is a pristine private beach with shade and lounge chairs- perfect to enjoy a relaxing day of sun and water (the water is crystal clear and shallow) with kayaks and SUPs provided. The rooms are simple, modern, and very clean- providing you A/C and a comfortable bed and peaceful sleep. Jaime made incredible meals (Breakfast and Supper) for us- something different each day- healthy and nutritious, and full of flavor. Although its a 45min golf cart drive from San Pedro- Casa Nova Cabanas offers everything you want if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation with delicious meals, excellent accommodations (and incredible hosts!) and a beautiful beach."
"Beautiful property in the perfect location to enjoy Secret Beaches clean, clear beach. The cabana was lovely and comfortable even without air conditioning as the ocean breeze along with fans make sleep comfortable. "
