"The location is a little away from the main part of town, it's tucked away through the little alleyways. You'll need to be good with stairs to get to and from this place. "5 stars is not enough for Conche Luxury Hotel. From the comprehensive information provided prior to arrival, to our welcome from Carla, the amazing, spacious room and wonderful amenities, this property ticks all the boxes. It is superbly located within the Sassi of Matera and it’s easy to access key sites. Carla provided us with a map, highlighting areas of interest. She also recommended numerous restaurants and even booked us in to one when we returned later in the afternoon. Her recommendation was spot on and our dinner was unforgettable. Carla’s customer focus and attention is second to none! The breakfast next morning was outstanding. You could not want for anything but included focaccias, a quiche like slice, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, sliced bread, bruschetta, scrambled eggs, any coffee you desired and cakes. It was AMAZING!! Don’t hesitate, this property has 4 rooms and if you’re coming to Matera, you should definitely stay here. "
