"The room was excellent, very clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The check in is automated, I was sent an email with directions and a code to enter the building, and room, however I had a hard time understanding how to use the code but the staff was available and helped me get into my room. The only drawback is the location, its in what appears to be an older apartment building. There is no private parking but we were able to find a parking space in the street...

"This hotel was very clean, modern, and efficient, with helpful and kind staff and a unique location. The positives were the cleanliness, modern design and newer furnishings/room decor, the cost was very reasonable, and the hotel was easy to find while driving. Negatives were breakfast was not included, parking was public street parking if you could find it (although the hotel only charged 9 Euros overnight for the tag we put in the windscreen), and the public areas of the hotel were rather drab / uninteresting. We were relatively close to the Enzo Ferrari museum and local dining options, but a bit of a walk from the city center and our dinner restaurant. We even got to enjoy some political protests on the day of our arrival, very near the hotel. When in Modena... Most of our hotels were exciting enough for me to want to take pictures of our room, the facility, etc. The fact that I completely forgot to take any pictures of this one says something. It's a good, solid, clean, decent, modernist-ish hotel that does the job and for a great price. Just not as memorable as the other Italian hotels we enjoyed across 12 days and 7 cities while in country. It's the VW diesel estate/wagon of Modena hotels. See the photos I've uploaded...in addition to Zamian Piccola Osteria and Lambruscheria Modena...what's in the photos is what was memorable about Modena."
