With a nice and warm heated indoor pool, workout room, and a pretty dang good breakfast spread, you can't beat the price. Only negative: they serve folgers coffee (bluh). I mean, it's the northwest, home of some of the best coffees in the world. Upgrade the coffee....they'll be unbeatable for the price.!"

"We were on a road trip and looking for somewhere unique to stay that wasn't a cookie-cutter interstate chain hotel. The McCleary Hotel fit the bill. It's a charmingly weird old place with lots of character. The room was comfortable, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the staff was nice. Can't ask for more than that. We spent the evening chillin' by their gas fire pit in the backyard, and appreciated the coffee and pastries in the morning. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with all the high-end amenities, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a genuinely unique place to stay and enjoy some living history, this is your spot."
