"2 guys motorcycling to California along the coast. Let’s be honest, this isn’t a 5 star location yet it was clean and tidy and quiet with a free continental breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Stayed there last time and this time. I’ll stay again when I’m out that way. Recommended if you don’t need fancy schmancy."
"Our room and bathroom were nice and very clean but rather small, with little place to put our stuff.
We had one queen bed with two night stands with built-in USB and AC sockets (very convenient!) and two lamps above them. There was also a small table with two chairs, but it was a bit dark there because there were no other lamps in the room. A kitchen nook had a fridge and another table with a microwave on it, so not much space was left.
More lamps and a place to put a suitcase, clothes, toiletries, etc. would make it a more comfortable place to stay. We were rather satisfied anyway.
Parking was easy, in front of the room. The property looked nice and well maintained.
The lady who is the host/owner was very nice and exceptionally helpful."
"Amazing hotel although there was a used rag in the shower but no worries ! Supper nice friendly staff the bar guy was a little rude but still won that night"
"There was no hot water throughout the stay. Had to get hot water from staff in a 5 gallon bucket to wash off. Would not give me any money back for the stay."
"Very cool house that’s been updated in smart ways (plenty of outlets, spacious bathrooms) without compromising its historic character. Nice array of breakfast options plus light snacks available throughout the day, plus it’s within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants."
