"Car park is quite a distance away. Then reception isn’t with the hotel, I was distracted and tired and missed the reception as I saw the hotel first, headed to that, couldn’t get in and then asked in the bar Reyes Pinter me back to the hotel entrance, it wasn’t u til some other guests arrived that they Pinter out the reception back towards the car park. Annoying when it’s raining as they are not next to each other. This needs to be made clearer. Room was ok, a little more than a travelodge if I’m honest.room was actually cold, with solid floors and was woken up by people walking around in the room above. Who needs to be walking around from 2-5am!!! Breakfast was ok, told to sit anywhere, yet the tables weren’t made up, no cutlery or condiments, all other tables had dirty plates and hadn’t been wiped clean. Would I stay there again? Maybe if little or nothing else was available, I go somewhere else if in the area. "

"We had an accessible room which was clean and serviced every day. Bathroom was clean, but my partner noticed a slight leak to the toilet and that the sink unit was a bit loose from the wall. This he reported on checkout as both were minor issues for our stay. Breakfast selection was quite good but I didn’t like the dispenser for the jam marmalade and honey. As it could get messy and selection was limited. The cereal selection area also got messy due to the design of the bowls meant people were spilling over the side when getting their selection. Mugs were really not wide enough to catch the variations of the coffee machine. On two occasions I had to try again as the cappuccino mixture missed and went down the side of the mug. The main problem is that the accessible room had a small queen bed and this was not quite adequate. I think in an accessible room where the partner has to use a bathroom not suitable for them they should be able to get some comfort in the sleeping area and a king size bed would be more appropriate. Parking was excellent if a little expensive for a blue badge holder. "

"Room was clean and tidy on arrival However next day.. left ticket on door for my room to be cleaned.. the bed was not made up neatly.. just thrown up and pillows not put back in a tidy position.. I expected decent toiletries in bathroom.. no shampoo first two days.. one of the bedside lamps didn’t work.. bit of a health and safety issue for me.. as I get up during the night and didn’t expect this .. to not easy to navigate channels.. watched Netflix on my iPad for duration of stay. Breakfast was disappointing.. not enough healthy or fresh options.. eg dried fruits instead of fresh. I paid for breakfast before arriving.. but ended up only having one as I went to a local cafe where they had fresh produce which was much more suitable for my dietary needs.Also on pricing! I got charged €14 for 2 cups of coffee!! Ridiculous price for guests staying at your hotel.. Another problem I had was trying to find any information about the dinner menu and prices.. There should be information in the hotel rooms for guests so that they can make a decision as whether to reserve a table. Also no information about spa or gym in room! Second day however bed was made up more satisfactorily and Elemis toiletries were available In bathroom. 😊. Staff were varied.. looking smartly dressed.. but I have definitely been in other establishments where the staff are much more energetic and engaging with their customers. Sorry wouldn’t stay again unless some changes were made."

"Perfect for good gateway in a nice area. Rooms with clean and spacious staff were dice food was great"

"Great location behind the cathedral.The room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was great and even though it was buffet/help yourself the quality of the food was good. The room itself was a bit shabby around the edges. There were stains on the carpet and the furniture was scratched and outdated. Whilst the bathroom looked like it had recently been retiled the taps and shower head were covered in what I guess was limescale.The remote control for the television was filthy. The building itself was very 1960's and I found it a bit strange that reception was round the side in the basement. Overall OK for a 2 night stay. I chose this hotel as I needed to be near the hospital as visiting a sick relative."

"Room could do with some attention to detail when being cleaned, nice large size room and very comfortable beds, staff did come to the room ask 21:15 and asked to enter, not entirely sure why? Breakfast was delicious lots to choose from, would have been nice if we was told we could order eggs to our liking unfortunately we weren’t, bar and bar food was rather expensive and not worth the price paid "

"There was a good buffet breakfast. All the staff were polite and courteous. The room, with a window to the side, gave a view of the cathedral to one side and a view of the marina to the other side. The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel is very close to everything. We will stay again."

"We stayed two nights without children and dog. Our dog was made to feel very welcome by all staff which was great. Shout outs to Julie and Charlie who went above and beyond looking after our dog whilst we had dinner. "
