One of the elevators was out of service. There were times we waited 10-15 minutes for an elevator to get to/from the 6th floor. Our shampoo was out the first day; no staff to bring us more. We had to go down to get it. We booked our stay through Expedia; when our flight was delayed, we still had to pay for our rooms. Good, clean hotel; staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

Overall we had a great stay. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for work but there were no signs and no notice from the hotel. Our grandson was telling all of the staff in the lobby that he was excited to go to the pool. They all agreed how much fun it would be but no one bothered to say the pool was closed. We found out when we walked out on the roof and saw workers and no water.

I have been coming to this specific Hampton Inn for years. This experience was sadly disappointing. The pool was closed (which is a large reason I booked this hotel) and there was no compensation or upgrade for this lack of amenity when asked. The room itself was not recently vacuumed (visible dirt and debris) and I found a pill from a prior guest on the floor that when looked up was a AN1 pill, a breast cancer pill, (thank god a child or dog didn’t find it before I did). The toilet had a prior substance on it which who knows what that was. There was hair in the bathroom and spots of mold on the bathroom walls. There is a large homeless presence at the square right next to the hotel. Not the hotels fault, but something to consider. The breakfast staff is wonderful and very attentive.
