Very nice hotel in a lovely area across from a pretty park, with a great little swimming pool. However room wasn’t entirely comfortable: no real draws, no reading light, and a broken TV remote. Still, I’m not sure one could do much better in Savannah. It’s a sophisticated, well run place.

Beautiful hotel. I stayed in a park view room, and everything was great. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was humongous. The pool area was nice and relaxing. I also enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel. The location was walkable to the river/downtown area (15 minutes). The personal driver was a nice addition, just needed to book a time.

Hotel Bardo is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property is stunning—every detail feels intentional and luxurious. I believe they may have been top in service however, having recently stayed at The Wynn in Las Vegas and understanding what a Condé Naste hotel winner should have, I found them to be somewhat disappointing. Everyone was very kind, however our room was unable to get below 72 at night (we need it colder to sleep well), and we ended up with a fan because we didn’t want to move. They offered to move us but the disruption for the short time we stayed wasn’t worth it. It’s very old character and the park is amazing! Just an underwhelming experience especially for what we paid. I will definitely stay on the river from now on, as this was not worth the trip or the location.
