You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Savannakhet Dinosaur Museum in Savannakhet. Discover the area's countryside and temples.
Really quiet kinda boring town, all the westerners there getting Thai visas only ate at the night market or a handful of overpriced restaurants that are on every writeup of the town. Go eat noodles or some local food instead
