"I have stayed at City Hotel Ljubljana multiple times over the years. The location is 300 - 400 meters from Ljubljana's Old Town where stores and restaurants are located. The staff are professional and always ready to help. The hotel and rooms are always clean. The bathroom is a good size with a large shower. The fitness center (gym) has nice equipment and is good for a basic work out. The daily breakfast buffet is one of the largest around. It has food for both European and North American tastes. There is no shortage of selection for your taste buds. I rate City Hotel as excellent."

"We spent our first night in Slovenia here arriving quite late. Eurie at the reception desk was very kind, friendly and welcomed us warmly. The room we had was spacious and clean. In the morning, a delicious breakfast was served in the dining room. Eurie was at the desk in the morning and provided very helpful tips about where to visit in Kranj as well as how to get to our next destination."

"Beautiful hotel. We had a fantastic stay for 3 nights.The hotel was clean , comfortable and welcoming. Huge lobby compared to Intercontinental Hotel across the street. Our room was well maintained and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was worth it. Extensive selections and nice restaurant. I highly recommended this hotel."

"We loved it overall - such a good location from coming off a bus The only issue was the bathrooms - whilst there were lots and well maintained, could have been cleaned more regularly Also, I’d book a bottom/lower room as the metal ladder up to the bed in the top/upper room are uncomfortable on the feet"
