Fantastic staff - really went out of their way to ensure we have an enjoyable stay. Chef able to tailor food to our liking (we can’t have spicy food). Hotel also handled our tiger safari booking and transfers (Vikas is a great driver) - all went smoothly and the bonus was that we were lucky enough to see a tiger (zone 7). The Rajastani musical performance at night which was nice too. Thank you for having us.

The Tigeress is well located if you are going on Ranthambore reserve. The hotel staff definitely make the hotel a very friendly place and go out of their way to help. The hotel is not near any other restaurants etc, but the food in their own restaurant is good and has speciality food cook every evening.

We stayed for 2 nights. The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the chef even prepared separate food for me if the offerings were too spicy. The massages were top notch. Would stay again.

The dirtiest hotel I have seen in my life. The rooms and shower have fungus growing on them. You don't want to sit on a sofa or a chair for the dirt. The carpet on the floor is enormously disgusting. Flies in the rooms. Terrible food. The staff are friendly and humble. We had booked and paid for two nights but couldn't stand staying for more than one. The smell of the humidity and fungi in the room kills you.

The Tigress Resort was lovely for a one night stay while in the area for a tiger safari. The property was clean and well appointed and had a beautiful local aesthetic. Check in was very welcoming with a quick process and complimentary fruit juice. Afternoon coffee at the pool was a relaxing treat. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the resort and the waitstaff was more than accommodating to all of our wants and our meals were delicious. We chose to try the Indian options and we were not disappointed. The cultural show at dinner time was great entertainment as well. All around an exceptional stay. I would not hesitate to recommend The Tigress to my friends and family.

Good location for Ranthambore

Before arriving at the hotel they were extremely helpful and responsive helping us set up safari trips etc. During our stay the service was very mixed, some excellent and some didn't seem to know what was going on. The hotel is a little dated but clean and nice and it was good having the pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served buffet style which is not my favourite but the food was very good. There were options for fresh cooked items too such as masala dosa and eggs at breakfast. Was a great location for Ranthambore and getting the overnight train to Udaipur.

Disappointed with the experience. I booked a room for three guests and was charged accordingly, but no proper sleeping arrangement was provided for the third guest. Despite being told the diwan would be set up as a bed, nothing was done even by 11:30 pm. Only a sheet and pillow were provided in winter, which is unacceptable. Service did not match the price paid.

This was our second time staying at The Tigress Resort & Spa, Ranthambore. We stayed in February 2020 and again in March 2023. Both stays were due to us going on the safaris at Ranthambore. The Tigress is an excellent resort, with excellent service and our experience at this resort was even better this time around. Their facilities have been improved since 2020 and this is a very good sign that the owners are investing in the longevity of the hotel. Food options are excellent for each meal and there is live entertainment for dinner. The rooms are spacious (we've stayed in a Villa and a Suite) and well maintained. There is also a bar, a games room and a swimming pool. For those that are attending safaris, the hotel has some thoughtful perks like providing blankets for the cold morning start to the early morning safari. The gates have security guards and the resort has high walls making guests feel safe. All in all, this is an excellent resort that we highly recommend to those going on safari in Ranthambore.
