"Quaint stay in Springfield, VT in a 1904 built mansion which is a National Historic Landmark. Wonderful room in the attached hotel adjacent to the mansion. The rooms were beautiful and the mansion itself had a coffee & drink station in a beautiful reading room complete with grand piano, 1920s-era music, and a library. The property is quiet but close to the downtown. It's a 12 minute walk to the downtown area. The Copper Fox is a must try restaurant. The atmosphere and experience can't be beat....

"The location is very convenient, right off I-91. Overall, we had a good experience. However, when we first entered the room, it was freezing because the A/C was set to 54°F. During the night, the unit started making loud, erratic noises, so I turned it off, but the noise continued. It kept disturbing us until we finally fell asleep late at night. I even removed the batteries from the thermostat, but the noise still didn’t stop."

"Well, it definitely is a motel. We drove in and immediately saw shopping carts in a pile in the corner of the parking lot. There was shrubbery all over. Cracks in the parking lot. The lobby isn't clearly marked and you have to drive toward the back of the parking lot before you see it (side entrance). The staff wasn't out front so you had to hit a doorbell. They answer and tell you to take your key card from a "lockbox" which is open and your key cards are sitting there out in the open. They said "okay, you're good" without checking ID or credit card. There weren't great markings where to go to find the room. The hallways smelled like a mix of old cigarettes, weed, and incense. The room did seem pretty clean despite all of that. I could tell they took care of the rooms. There was a hidden hole in the room of the floor underneath the carpet, though, that would have been easy to trip over. All said, I still got a decent night sleep but probably wouldn't stay there again."

"The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful for our needs. The breakfast was limited and it was make your own type of choices such as bagels, slices of three kinds of bread, and English muffins. You can toast them by yourself and small individual packaged butter were provided. Not cream cheese nor jam. Not hot meals such as eggs nor bacon, sausage. We however enjoyed the bagels every day! There were some fruits available. We also loved the jacuzzi, a large tub very much. One thing that we noticed; The shower head that was installed (Paul Newman suite) was a surprisingly simple type (without a handle) and the door couldn’t be closed properly so that the water leaked out to the floor easily. While using shower. We used the bath mat to stop the water might flooding on the marble floor. We recommend to fix the door closing appropriately. Over all, we enjoyed our relaxing stay and we would love to come back again when the constructions and the beautiful garden areas are finished. Thank you so much!"
