"I feel they should have two waffle makers for the weekends that they are booked to capacity.
I was given two keys for room, but one wouldn’t work first day, then the other stopped working in the morning.
I found small ants in bathroom towels and one on my bed.
I found my room on the 3rd floor to be clean and quite pretty. Thankfully, it did not smell like the 1st and 2nd floor. There is a heavy smell of chemical cleaners as soon as you open the main entrance doors.
"
"The shower was missing a door handle.
There were long hairs in the shower and on the shower wall. The bathroom light was out so it was very dark in the bathroom. The A/C sounded like it was loud."
"I stayed in this property over the weekend to visit my daughter at school. The property is about 15 minutes from campus so the location is good.
I need to start this review explaining that the staff were very nice. This review is no reflection on Capital O First Heritage Inn's customer service. The room was clean, with the exception of the mattress.
There were several things in the room that need attention including the heating unit, the mattress, the bed linens, and the sink faucet.
The heating unit did not work, it blew out cold air when the heat setting and temp was chosen.
The bed did not include a mattress pad or a blanket. The linens included a fitted sheet and a mismatched top sheet. the linens did not smell or feel fresh. the mattress had what looked like small wood shavings embedded in the divets of the mattress. The shavings were only found at the top of the mattress. I think they were from the installation of bolting the headboard to the wall. The mattress also had several holes in the top fabric, exposing the stuffing of the mattress.
The sink faucet does not work properly. The water drips out very slowly."
"I found two baby roaches in The bathroom crawling around. Both nights we came back to the hotel no parking except the back of the building with. No keyed entrance, we had to walk around the entire building then our key wouldn't work each night to even get in. We had to ring the doorbell so they could rekey both cards each time. With an attitude stating keep away from phone, which was not even the case either time. "
