Excellent stay! Definitely would return.

The flat/apartment had everything you need for a short stay. Nicely located with food and clothes shops close by. The hosts we're very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. We'd definitely return to this accommodation again.

convenient to seafront and local park and town. Sharon was lovely and left a gift basket of goodies as a welcome which was very appreciated as we ere celebrating an anniversary. Great to have kitchen facility for breakfast and warming food at the end of a busy day out. Cosy and comfortable. Would stay here again

Communication great, met by our host Sharon who explained all we needed & left contact details should we need her. She also left a lovely welcome pack. Flat was clean & comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. Ideally situated for the Open Air Theatre & North Bay. We would be more that happy to return.

Convenient, clean, compact flat.

Clean compact apartment unit. The kitchen was well stocked for being able cook your own meals..a small one stop shop is close by. The beds were comfy, pillows were a bit firm for me but that's just personal taste. Sharon provided extra cleaning/sanitising products and there was hand gel at the emtrance hall. Good base for exploring Scarborough. Walking distance to beach and Peasholme Park and on main road with easy access driving routes for Whitby and surrounding area.

Weekend break

We booked 2 nights here with our 2 boys aand it was fantastic for us. Sharon was a fantastic host and the apartment was exactly what we needed, cant wait to return.

Lovely

Clean and comfortable, Sharon the owner is a very warm, helpful and friendly person. She is always happy to advise and answer any questions.The flats are within easy walking distance of Peasholm Park and the North Bay. The very regular bus service is just a few minutes walk from the flats and there are shops and restaurants close by.

Initial impressions were 'this is okay, would book again', but then we had some neighbours that took advantage of an 'exclusive patio' area for Flat 1 to sit and smoke by the lounge window (actually patio doors) of our flat, Flat 2. Opening the window was our only option to ventilate the lounge on a hot days. The property is advertised as being smoke free, but this does not appear to be the case, as a ashcan is provided in this area. On top of this, these neighbours choose to sit directly by our lounge window and peer at us. We could have pulled the curtains, but why should we sit in the dark, because the owners haven't set rules properly. Plus they need to stop advertising this property as a smoke free establishment, because it is not. As said before, would have loved to book again, but now wouldn't.

Brilliant 3 night family break

Apartment was clean and well equipped with everything needed. Fantastic location with everything within walking distance. Sharon, the landlady was amazing; she was really helpful with local information and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great stay!

A brilliant stay The lady who runs it was brilliant Will be booking for next year even though i was only there for two days with grandchildren they loved it We loved it . Not far from seaside and shops on corner of street for needs or bits and bobs The kitchen was well equiped the beds were bliss and a good sized Tv in living room Felt like home from home . A massive thank you for the stay

Good location, clean accomodations

Sharon is a wonderful host who took time out to orient us to the area. The apartment is convenient for walks along the North Bay and to Peasholm Park. Appreciated the instruction book for the apartment and local map. Care was taken to meet our needs and the apartment was spotless.

Good base for the South pier

Sharon was really accommodating regarding our arrival and the apartment was just the right size for our Family, on the whole the accommodation was fine as a base for the weekend though it is a little tired and dated in places and would benefit from a new mattress in on the double bed

Lovely accommodation and very clean. Slightly dated but we were told that the flat we stayed in (flat 5) is being renovated over the winter. Sharon (the owner) is lovely and very helpful. Will definitely return.

Great holiday flat

Great holiday flat, 10 minute walk to town or the north bay, 5 minutes to Peasholm park. Didn't cook but looked as though everything needed was provided. Sharon was never far away if there was any issues (not that we had any). Perfectly clean and today. If I had to leave a negative it would be there was no bin in the bathroom. Would recommend for a couple or family

Great value, great location

This accomdation is in a great location- turn left out of the property and in 8 mins you are Peasolm park and a further 3 mins you are at the seafront. Turn left out of the property and in 10 mins you are at the town centre and the south bay for amusements/south bay beach etc. Plenty of take away shops and convenience stores within 5 mins walk plus cafes so forget cooking! This accomodation will suit anyone, singles/couples/families.

Comfortable and convenient

A comfortable place to stay and convenient for walking to the beaches or to the town center. Quiet location. Parking possible on the road outside. The Clock Cafe above the south bay beach is a great place to sit and enjoy the view.

Charming self catered holiday let

My partner and I had a 3 night stay with our 2 year old son recently and it was an ideal base for us to explore and visit local attractions, such as the SeaLife Centre, North Bay Promenade and Peasholm Park (both within 10 minutes walk). Scarborough town centre and South Bay were also within easy reach. The accommodation was what we were expecting - clean, tidy and tastefully decorated - and the landlady was very friendly, approachable and helpful. If you’re the sort of person who’s bothered by a lack of space, I’d say the lounge diner in our flat was maybe a bit on the small side, but that was reflected in the very reasonable price compared with other places we’d looked at staying. Overall, I’d recommend and would consider staying again in future.
