Stayed at the orchard lodge for 2 nights over the Easter break. Very clean lovely bathroom and room, staff very welcoming and friendly. Close driving distance to Filey, Scarborough and Whitby.

Ideal Country Idyll
My wife and I had a very enjoyable 2 night stay here. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Andrew and Lucinda with the offer of tea and scones in the garden which gave us the chance for an nice chat. Our room was very spacious with a super-kingsize bed. The selection at Breakfast was amazing with loads of home-made produce, all served by 2 young attentive polite girls. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

Fabulous
Everything just Perfect, an absolute gem & a credit to Andrew and Lucindas hard work. This was our first visit and wont be our last. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean with tasteful furnishing and decor throughout, excellent customer service, very friendly and curteous staff who couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast and snacks excellent. Very quiet location. Everything 100% and will be our first choice when we return to the area.

Charming country lodge
Charming country lodge. Beautiful gardens and very dog friendly. Wonderful super king beds! Room was lovely, very spacious and everywhere was nipping clean. Would definitely stay here again. The owners are a lovely couple. Met on a arrival with a cup of tea and homemade cake

Very nice Lodge. Owners were lovely and accomodating, getting to know their guests personally is a very nice touch. Room is clean and serves its purpose. Would definitely stop again.

We were made to feel so welcome (including our dog Rosco) Our stay was very relaxing - huge comfy bed, big cups in our room for coffee, lovely view. We even had a mat in our room to put Rosco’s food on. Already thinking about our next visit

Liked everything about Orchard Lodge. Our first visit and we knew nothing in advance. However, we loved everything about the establishment, from the warmth and generous welcome to the verycomfortable accomodation and from the tea and cakes on arrival to the superb breakfast on departure. We are certainly coming back and we are telling all our friends!!!.

We appreciated the friendliness of the owners Andrew and Lucinda. Orchard Lodge has immaculate rooms and the owners have spent a lot to get it right for the guests. Dog friendly which was a big factor when choosing to book a few nights stay.

We had a lovely stay at Orchard Lodge. The B&B is in the perfect location for visiting the Yorkshire coast. The hosts are warm and welcoming, comfortable and clean rooms, tasty breakfast full of home produced items. Highly recommended! Paul and Sophie

This is a little gem of a place....it is absolutely stunning... I arrived and was immediately greeted by the owners who went out of their way so see I was ok... and I was even greeted by two beautiful black Labradors who loved a cuddle... I was shown to my room and then asked if would like some tea and cake, a lovely gesture... the room was stunning with a nice big comfy bed and lovely and clean throughout. The breakfast was amazing and most of the produce is locally sourced. I recommend the Apple Juice which comes from their own Orchard .... and if you don't then buy a bottle after trying it... well you have no taste buds.... it was amazing .... I will definately be going back again and it felt like a hokme away from home

We had a great stay at Orchard Lodge, we were made very welcome, the room was very good, service excellent, our dog was very welcome too and enjoyed his sausage at breakfast. We couldn't fault it.

At last- a great b+b to stay in near Scarborough!!
A warm welcome was awaiting us all- once shown around and to our rooms, we were offered complimentary tea and homemade cake to enjoy in the garden. They had given me details of taxis and recommendations of places to eat before we arrived, so all was organised! Rooms were spotless and nicely decorated- comfy bed. Nice breakfast- but service was only between 8.30-9.30, which was a bit of a short window. Having stayed at AWFUL hotels and b+bs in Scarborough on the last few visits to the open air theatre, I am so glad I booked this one - the taxi was only £15- and it is way above previous experiences nearer the theatre. Better value too.

Great stay, would go again
Lovely stay, very friendly owners who are happy to welcome you with great knowledge of the local area. Ample parking, great breakfast and plenty of outside space if the weather is right! Rooms have been recently renovated, including bathrooms making the room a very comfortable environment. Would visit again

Weekend Away
We were made to feel very welcome. The room was really comfortable and we were able to use fresh milk which was in a fridge on the landing. There was a massive choice at breakfast and a lot of local produce. I really enjoyed the fresh berries and yoghurt. The service was excellent and very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Superb!
Andrew & Lucinda (and their 8 week old Lab) were extremely friendly & hospitable hosts to both of us. By both, I mean my well behaved pet Lab Florence who felt at home with an early morning breakfast of sausage. I am sure she loved being spoilt as I was during my stay. I could not fault anything except praise for my hosts who went out of their way to make our one night stay as comfortable as possible. Good size and clean & rooms with plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water followed by a full English breakfast in the morning with some homemade jams etc. For well behaved pets & their owners it's a place to relax and enjoy the lovely countryside. I will certainly visit again and would recommend Orchard Lodge to all including pet owners.
