Mountain homes Durmitor 2

"Host is incredibly friendly and was helping us with every request. The house is perfectly located in a quiet area just outside Zablijac. There is a small kids playground outside, which was perfectly located. We will definitely recommend and come back!"

River Bridge Hotel

"Lovely rooms - really clean and the interior and decor was perfect and modern, loved the finished in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, definitely book in advance for dinner in the evenings as it gets very busy (for a good reason as the food was nice!). We did not book and whilst they kindly fit us in, it was a very long wait for food and drinks. Waiting staff were absolutely lovely but it does take a long time to get served at times, even during the day when it was quieter. Food was tasty though, authentic mountain Montegren options and the breakfast was outstanding, great range. Staff were very accommodating when we had food poisoning and had to stay an extra night, they were really excellent and understanding when we explained our circumstances and just wanted some simple food to order to the room - they were quick with that request. Location wise, it’s only 20 minute walk to Zagreb but it is on quite a busy road so views weren’t as gorgeous as other hotels but still only 20 minutes drive from Durmitor national Park and Blake Lake."

"Brilliant experience, with very helpful and responsive host (on Whats app) who was able to help with everything. Helped sort out a Tara River trip as well. Great accommodation with perfect location for visiting the beautiful Dormitor Mountains for our short trip. Even had a lovely local dog who visited us every morning our boys fell in love with Fully recommend :)"

"This property has everything you could ask for, it is surrounded by pine trees, fields with a backdrop of snow capped mountains. There is parking right outside. You have a porch with seating and Mountain View’s. Inside you have a lovely big sofa and tv, the kitchen area is very well stocked with lots of appliances from toasted sandwich maker to pancake pans. The coffee machine is a nescafé Dulce gusto machine, they gave us 4 pods for 3 nights so not enough. You will have to buy some if staying longer. The bathroom is great and has a heated floor which was a nice touch, the is a washing machine with powder and fabric conditioner available along with an airer to dry clothes. Plenty of towels. The stairs are quite steep and could do with a hand rail for the top. Two bedrooms upstairs, main room has a nice big comfortable bed, beware of low sloping ceiling if you are window side of the bed. There is a travel cot in there and a little rail to hang things up. All windows have fly screens on and there is air con and heating in the property. The second bedroom had 2 single beds in much easier to use this room. It also has a little hanging space. Over all this was a fantastic house to stay in and a great location for the national park and Tara canyon. Sat nav takes you right to the front door. 100% recommended it and would stay again. "We got the last available room after a visit to the National Park. It wasn't the best room, as it was apparently the last one not renovated since re-opening after a 6 month shutdown for offseason. What the room lacked, the staff, location, and especially the breakfast, made up for. I was NOT expecting a feast at 8 am but that is what we got. WOW! Fabulous!! Also, we enjoyed the sauna and pool, which, despite having been closed for the 6 months, we in perfect condition for great enjoyment. The staff can't repair and renovate the facility overnight but they sure are managing the manageable and making the stay a pleasure. The English spoke was also wonderful and helped us change our entire days planned day and route back to Kotor. Amazing area. Thanks, Team."
