Leavenworth Village Inn

"The staff were very kind and upgraded us to the Grand Suite which was a huge apartment, more room than we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent, just one block from the main downtown stretch of shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and fresh, but the upgrades and decorations were somewhat mismatched and odd. Some of the furniture was worn, faucets and shower seemed dated. Probably the biggest complaint were the AC units which worked well to keep the place cool on a hot, smoky week, but were so loud that it was hard to talk, watch TV, or sleep with them on. Amenities were minimal, but a safe, comfortable place to sleep was all we were really looking for and Leavenworth Village Inn provided that at a good price."

"The hotel is ideally located at the western end of the downtown core (where the main shops/attractions are located), on a pedestrian-only street - super quiet! The hotel also has it's own small parking lot located just off the main highway, about 100 feet from the front door. Meagan, the woman looking after the front desk when I checked in, was friendly and very helpful. My room had a small cove window you could sit in, with a view of the street and surrounding mountains. Only one small downside - you have to climb up 2 floors of stairs to get to the rooms. Fortunately the paramedics were waiting for me when I got there. :) The hotel definitely reminded me of stays I've had in Europe - it's decorated like a ski chalet. I will happily stay at the hotel the next time I visit Leavenworth."
