"Het hotel was netjes, ontbijt was prima. De bedden waren matig. Wij sliepen met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen op de kamer. Het bed voor de ouders was prima, de kussens stelde weinig voor. Het bed voor de kinderen was hard en klein. Uiteindelijk heeft onze dochter op de grond geslapen op de dekens. Net zo hard maar dan wel de ruimte. "

"Overall this was a very nice stay. Our room was spacious and very quaint with a nice little balcony. The hotel gave us a free bus pass for our stay. We were able to ride the bus to Salzburg and back without any problems. The breakfast buffet was good. Ramona at the front desk was very helpful when we arrived. "

"I booked 1 room in Hotel Sonnenhof on 16th February, via Hotels.com, for a stay commencing on 28th May. Hotel sent me a message on 27th May that I was not in Hotel Sonnenhof in Timelkam, but at an apartment in Lenzing, 4.5km further away. No pre-warning was given, no rationale for the change in location, no option to cancel or reduction in rate was offered. "Nice property, very good breakfast. Room could have been bigger but thats typical European. Clean though. Could use an elevator as not to lugg the bags up the stairs. Although there’s someone to help. Great looking pool… but cold !! Not heated. Disappointing. The property is a bit outlying from the city in Salzburg and a GPS is an absolute must since the inner city is where most things to see and do is. Found a great ( plus a few others) restaurant named “ Goldener Hirsch” down in the inner city. Very good. Also don’t miss the Sacher Hotel in the same area for some delicious Torten and Pastries and coffee. This is the original place to sample the Sacher Torte. Of course you can stay there too. JUST BRING MONEY….First class place. Suggest taking a taxi from the hotel since driving there and finding parking can be a little challenging. And then you have to walk a bit. Taxi is door to door. Salzburg is a nice town though."

"Great Castle Hotel with nice courtyard and amazing breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. We stayed in a nice large suite with 2 stories, one for each bedroom and bathroom and kids absolutely loved it Not too many dining options late in the evening so need to drive out of Mondsee for that but otherwise decent restaurants just minutes away."

"The reception staff member was so welcoming and set the tone for us. The hotel room and facilities were wonderful. The saunas and relaxing spaces were most impressive and helped us relax after a long journey to Eugendorf, and again the following day after a thorough exploration of Salzburg. Breakfast very good. We all enjoyed it.The free bus service was an extra bonus to and from Salzburg. Couldn't fault our stay apart from it wasn't long enough and we are going to return in the autumn. Lovely!! "
