"The room was perfectly serviceable and comfortable, clean and quiet. It was showing some surprising wear and tear in places however - scuffs and marks to furniture, torn carpet etc. Two of the three (very small) elevators were out of order when I stayed, and the one remaining lift insisted on stopping at every floor on the way down, making for a slow and squeezy departure!"

"I had a really great stay at La Troupe Grand Place. The location was amazing, super easy to walk to all the main attractions, and Brussels-Zuid train station is only 20 minutes away. I stayed in a 4-person mixed dorm room and it was ideal for my two day visit. Everything is beautifully clean and the shower was the best I’ve ever had in a hostel! You have a curtain to pull over your bed for privacy as well as your own light and charging ports. The bed was very comfy and spacious. As a woman sharing the room with three men, I felt safe and comfortable the entire time, everyone was very respectful of each other in terms of noise and lights etc. All the staff that I dealt with were very friendly and helpful; for example I needed to print a train ticket and it was no problem at all. They also recommended me events that were happening in the hostel and good places to eat nearby. Not negatives but just a couple of things to be aware of: it’s 3 euros to rent a towel and there is a luggage storage but you also need to pay for this. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I would definitely stay here or at one of your other locations again!"

"This property was so great! Located right across from the train station. Not only were they so accommodating and nice, they had recs for us on food and allowed us to store our bags for free when checking out to go explore the city. They also had unlimited coffee and tea, which was really nice. The shower could have been warmer but that is truly my only complaint about this hotel!"
