Suite was very cool (had an upgrade) – classy furniture, comfy bed. Bathtub however was not so nice: there was quite some chipping, faucet was loose and would spin around when turning on the water, tile joints and shower wall were kinda dirty. That i would have not expected in this pricerange. Wifi connection was very unstable in our room, but...

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"This is a hostel and not a hotel. It is only ideal for one night. They do not clean the room nor give you fresh sheets or towels during a longer stay. We stayed 6 nights and it's too long. If you want these services you have to pay for them. I understand not cleaning but you need towels during a long stay. Any room that faces the square will face 24 hour noise from Street cleaning at 6am, the setting up of market stalls at 6am three times a week, church bells all night and shouting and screaming...
