"I stayed in the remodeled area which I would recommend asking for specifically. The room was very nice, the problem was the service and customer experience. At this price point, I would expect a working television. Once it was begrudgingly acknowledged that the t.v. was on lock, calls were made- however, the situation was not resolved over my 2 day, $1500 stay. Everything else was great but when an issue as large as this (I was planning to watch movies all weekend) goes unresolved for 2 days- it kind of gives you a bad vibe. They did give me a $50 discount upon checkout but I would have gladly paid $50 to have the issue resolved and feel respected as a guest. Enjoy the spa, I would think twice about staying there- guest services need work."

"Wonderful experience. Beautiful property. Relaxing pool and sauna. Elisabeth took great care of us and welcomed us with champagne. Lovely people and great food! Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend this beautiful place."

"The rooms were very original, with authentic wooden beams, sloping walls and crooked stairs! Lots of character in this beautiful hotel! Would definitely stay again if stopping in the area. Lots of choice for breakfast. The courtyard was decorated for Christmas (late Nov stay) with beautiful lights and decorations. "

"Cozy room in center of Obernai which is very convenient. Only recommendation to the lobby personnel is to have some information on possible parking space alternatives if their reserved parking is full and the nearest parking is full too. "

"Room was not made up for 3 people as booked. We had to go back down to reception to let them know (as there are no phones in the room). They did remedy this quickly. The room listing however stated a single bed and it was a sofa bed. The lights in the bathroom were very temperamental - one would go off sometimes and sometimes all the lights would turn off. The water also didn’t come out from the sink tap sometimes. "

"5 Star property and amenity all the way. Beautiful throughout and exceptional service and food. The pool and spa facilities were unique and luxurious. Breakfast was gourmet and the rooms were spacious and super clean. Would be returning to this property again."
