"I found the hotel and the rooms were clean and well kept. The parking was well lit and plentiful. The indoor pool was nice. Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast but it smelled really good. I will definitely be returning to Hotel Salem. Thank you for a nice stay."
"When we checked in and the next day when we changed rooms the woman at the front desk was efficient and made the transition smooth. This is our 5th or 6th stay here in the last few months. We always enjoy our stay.
This time had a few glitches, from 12pm to 4am the room next to ours was noisy and even after talking to the night clerk nothing was done to have them be quiet. The main amenity at a hotel is a good nights sleep and that was a fail on the staff's part,
The chairs in both rooms should be replaced as they are worn and the legs are coming off. We did not use either chair.
Our stay at the Independence is usually faultless and this was not the case this time."
"My 3 day stay was perfect. Everything was just right. Staff are so nice. Lobby was clean and so inviting. There’s fresh and clean water at all times. Coffee, tea and hot water also till mid afternoon. Breakfast was yummy and so much variety. Hot eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits and gravy, potato es, waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, oatmeal, cereal. Fruits, juices, yogurt. Quiet and so comfortable and plenty of parking that I would stay here again😍"
"There were 3 couples in our group who needed the ability to check-in early as we had a wedding to attend to. We all called the hotel, and they did a fabulous job accommodating us. I worked with Cassie and Grace and there were awesome. Thank you,"
"The ambience and the setting of the location were amazing. It’s a great place to take your pet. We had our own back patio with its own gate and our dog could run in and out just to feel like he was at home. Silverton has always beautiful, but this location is just amazing. Staff was nice and polite and very helpful. I love being able to take my dog out to the outdoor patio and have breakfast looking at all the flowers all around was totally worth it."
