The front desk staff is lovely and the hotel is walkable to Atlantic Beach and just a short drive over the bridge to great dining in Morehead City and Beaufort. "This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!"

"The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable."

"This rental does not include sheets, towels. You have to ask and pay for it when you check in. To find out where to check in was another job and it’s located 5 blocks away. The place is dark, musty, very old. All beds are bunk beds. Some roaches. We won’t come back."
