"This was the first time I have stayed in a motel in decades so I was pleasantly surprised at how updated, nicely decorated and clean the room was. I chose this place due to the close proximity to Hyline ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The room was large with a comfy seating area but bathroom was very tiny and quite a tight space to maneuver in. I would have preferred a standup shower instead of tub/shower combo but it worked. The bed was very comfortable with crisp new sheets and pillows. We chose a ground floor room because there was no elevator and we didn’t want to lug heavy suitcases up to the upper level. The first night was fine but the 2nd night there must have been a family with a small children above us because I could hear footsteps pounding across the floor which woke me up in the morning. We didn’t use the pool or outdoor areas but they looked perfect for families."
