"What a beautiful spot! The hotel rooms were well appointed and very clean. Loved the private deck space. The walk to the private beach was easy to navigate and the water was beautiful. Grounds were well maintained. Everything about this place was neat and clean. Will highly recommend."

"Fun place to stay on a family vacation going around Maine. Staff is awesome and super friendly. Location excellent with Belfast downtown and all the area has to offer. View is amazing with yard for kids to run around and fire pit for adults to have a drink. Pool is fun too. "

"Older hotel but nicely fixed up. Cute Maine theme in the decor. Comfy beds. Decent breakfast with several options. The curtains were thin and the early morning sun came right in our room. Staff were less than friendly, but we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again if in the area. "

"This is an outstanding historical property, gorgeous inside and out. Our hosts are friendly, accomodating, and highly talented in the kitchen. The room was spotless, private, and very comfortable. The yard was spectacular, with a fountain, sculptures, and large lawn even including a visiting young family of deer. Great view of the ocean from the front porch."
