"My Husband and I made a quick trip. ToVirgina Beach. This hotel was affordable, clean, and the hotel staff were very polite. We arrived 3 hours before check in and pleasantly surprised we were granted an early check in. Staff checked on us through txt and anything needed was a txt away with prompt service."

The bartender we had eveynight was so great he check to see if we needed anything. Our glasses were never empty. Overall experience was exceptional. Thank you so much for a great gateway. We will be back!"

"Check-in was quick and very easy. Even though we got there after midnight, the staff was cheerful and upbeat. Our room was exactly as described and the fold out couch was already opened ready to sleep on, which was a nice touch. The hotel overall is obviously not new, but was very clean and well maintained. What was most impressive was the staff. We checked out and were on our way out of Virginia Beach when I realized that I had left my cell phone that I use for my work in the room. I called in a panic and spoke to Jasmine, who said she would go check and call me back. Within 15 minutes, she had already gone to the room herself, found my phone, and called me back to let me know. It may seem insignificant, but it was a big deal to me. Jasmine and the other staff provided excellent customer service, even after we left. We would definitely stay there again."

"The view and walk out balcony are the best! The staff are very helpful. The lobby coffee and orange infused water are fabulous. It is nicely situated on the beach, which is ideal if the weather cooperates. Like most beach hotels, it is very dated and in need of repairs (holes in walls, bathroom doors that are deteriorated at the bottom, and stained furniture). It smells as if the building itself smokes weed constantly or is incontinent. I probably wouldn’t stay here again"

"Not bad for a lower mid-scale hotel on the beach. Nothing "fancy," although the in-room jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. It worked, but the lights overhead didn't, and it took some time and planning to maximize its use since it took awhile to fill. We visited as the weather started turning colder, so trying to use the heat lead to setting the smoke detector off. (Fortunately, it didn't set the sprinkler off too...) Room service was responsive and provided the extra sheets and towels we needed - once I got the room phone hooked up again, since the outlet plate was disconnected from the wall. In the end, I got a basic room with a tub upgrade and beach view through windows with water spots. Not the worst, not the best."

"This hotel was exactly what I thought I would be getting for the price. You can tell they are making improvements however there is still work to be done. That being said though the room was very clean. The beds we comfortable and it was quiet. Was impressed the room didnt smell like Marijuana like several other much more expensive hotels I have stayed at in that are lately."
