Very nice, clean and retro modern rooms - but small. No closet. You hang your clothes on a bar that runs the length of the room. Fairly clean area of Seattle. Didn't encounter any homelessness or crime or feel threatened in any way. Unfortunately outside the hotel there was a nauseating smell of sewage across the street every time we walked to our car. Street parking only so this can get quite expensive and time consuming. Somehow the price ended up being about $100 more than what was reflected on Expedia after all the taxes and surcharges and whatever else.

The property is a simple motel with a theme. The rooms are small and have limited amenities(no fridge). The finishes are cheap and coming apart throughout the property. My shower plumbing was splitting apart and sprayed water everywhere. The floors were poorly laid and had air bumbles everywhere which are constantly underfoot. The decor is cheesy and executed poorly. The lighting in the room is abysmal. The windows only have a blackout curtain, no daylight privacy curtain, so your either in darkness or staring into someone else’s room. The hotels system auto invalidated everyone’s key cards at 9am because it thought the property was on the east coast so I was temporarily locked out of my room until I went down to the desk. On day of checkout I came back after breakfast at 10:30 and the cleaners had stripped the room and moved my things out despite checkout being at noon. Overall a poor experience in a mediocre hotel.

Great location, within walking distance of a lot downtown. Fun vibe with the bar downstairs. Room was good. Bathroom wasn't ideal -- the flooring was loose presumably due to the water from the shower, the toilet flush is on the weaker side, and the bathroom has a barn door. But the bed was fine, and they have blackout curtains. Efficient use of space which helps keep prices low.
