"Overall we are very pleased with the stay. Great location, beautiful views and nature around. The staff is very polite, the hotel is clean, but the cleaning of the rooms is rather superficial, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast good, especially by Slovak standards. We have a few remarks: we think it's better to raise the price slightly than to charge extra for the entrance to the wellness. "A short few day stay with family to visit Kosice. Hotel is clean and tidy with all the basic amenities you need. Staff are friendly and helpful at reception, also in the restaurant (for breakfast). There isn't much to do around the area but we had car rental so it was easy to get by. Only downfall is room cleaning - they don't clean anything - only just fold your bed, no change of towels, didn't clean the cups, no top up of tea/coffee either. Overall was a good stay. "

"This hotel was a perfect match for my stay in Kosice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts were fresh. For me its biggest asset was its location, only one block away from the cathedral. There was so much to do and see in that area, with lots of coffee shops and restaurants. It was a great place to hang out in during the evenings. I am planning on staying there again on my next trip. "

"City Residence provides excellent value. We had a full apartment, with kitchen, living area and bedroom. Staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, a five minute walk to the centre of the old city with a rich choice of grocery stores, cafes, bars and restaurants."

"Very good hotel near the old city. The rooms were good in general, my only complain were the curtains, it did let the light come from the outside. The breakfast was excelent with many options. The spa was also a nice addition to the hotel. The region around is very walkable with my restaurants and things to do"
