Top Sedgefield Hotel Reviews
Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
8/10 Good
"Hotel ideally placed. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. The breakfast was good/fine. Our room was large and comfortable with good a/c. Only downside was noise in the evenings."
Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel Golf and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel in the northeast"
Redworth Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived early afternoon on a very hot day and were able to enjoy the crazy golf and a cold drink out on the lawn. Table tennis and a sticks game were also available. The pool and other facilities were lovely, although the jacuzzi didn't seem to work to its programme. The evening menu wasn't vast and the light meal I chose in the bar was a bit bland - Cheeseburger & chips. Our room was very nice but almost as far away from reception as possible. We were told at reception how to locate the lift - a good walk away, but not the fact that we then had to walk a long way to access a second lift to the required floor for our room, then another short walk to our room. Not too good for elderly or those with mobility issues. If considering booking I would suggest requesting a room near the first lift!!! The buffet breakfast was extensive and very enjoyable. The car park is also a good walk away from reception unless you are very fortunate, although you can drop off just outside - if there isn't a coach parked in the way. A couple of negatives, but a very pleasant stay otherwise."
Hotel Bannatyne Durham
10/10 Excellent
"Good hotel, premium room was worth it. Easy parking and good bus services into town."
Radisson BLU Hotel Durham
10/10 Excellent
"A very pleasant hotel, ideal for exploring Durham and Newcastle. Pros: helpful and friendly staff, a spacious and clean room, and a swimming pool. Unfortunately, thereโs an extra charge for parking. From the outside, the building could be better maintained and cleaned (dirty window sills)."
Hardwick Hall Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful grounds with lovely views of the wildlife in and around the lake. Very peaceful."
