The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. "On the positive side the staff were really good. Excellent service and very helpful and friendly. The food was good both for breakfast and evening meal. On the negative side, it's an old building and is showing it's age. The floor in our room had a noticeable slope (disconcerting when you get out of bed at night). There was no hot water one evening for a few hours. Seems no-one had spotted the boiler was off."
