"I liked this hotel overall. True, the decor feels very outdated, but the rooms are roomy and great for families. They have several pools that we used even though it had a lot of dead bugs in it. I mean, it is an outdoor pool so it happens but I think it would be nice if there was staff who could every so often sift some of the dead bugs and debris out of the pool more regularly. It was a little gross! It's a bonus how close it is to shops and restaurants. It's very walking friendly. Overall, I would stay here again."

10/10 Excellent
"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Modern Sedona. I booked this hotel based on an internet search and crossed my fingers that it would live up to its online photos, listed amenities, and reviews. Not only did it live up to how it was advertised online, it exceeded our expectations! Each one of our family members (myself my husband and three kids) each said this was one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. It had SO much character...from the map printed wallpaper (topographical maps and trails) to the bike seat mounted above the fireplace to the fall mural/print in the hotel room...and made this hotel such a cool experience. The coffee/drink choices in the morning were great (and super friendly staff). We only wish we had gotten to stay more than one night! The only negative would be that the cool could have been cleaner-lots of gnats/bugs had settled themselves onto the surface on the hot summer night. Thank you for the wonderful stay-we will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know planning a trip to Sedona!"
