"Best Restaurant in a hotel I have ever eaten at! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well! Room was great as well and close to central Newport easy to uber and drive from."
"The hotel is a bit dated. The room was small. So I was a bit disappointed. But location and views are excellent. Guests should consider value and needs (size & modernness vs location) when making their decision. "
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Warwick-Providence (Arpt) by IHG
8/10 Good
"Every staff member was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the hot breakfast The bathroom floor was not in great shape very worn and tub non slip sticker was peeling. Overall a good place to stay. "
"This hotel is promoted as “Exceptional,” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The entire experience was incredibly misleading and frustrating from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, things were off, we were even given the wrong room number at check-in, which set the tone for the lack of organization and attention to detail. The property itself looked nothing like the beautiful, well-kept images online. Instead, it was dingy and outdated, feeling more like a run-down dorm than a hotel. It seemed like it had simply been painted over to mask its age, but the condition was still very apparent.
The room was equally disappointing, poorly lit with only one light, cheap furniture, and low-quality bedding. The pillows weren’t even proper sleeping pillows; they were literally square throw pillows, which made for an uncomfortable night.
To make matters worse, the pool was closed without any prior notice. We later found out it was due to structural issues, which is both concerning and unacceptable.
Overall, calling this place “Exceptional” is extremely misleading. This stay was a huge letdown and does not reflect what is being advertised at all."
"Room size was about 15' x 15' (225 SF), including bathroom. Would suffice for a private European youth hostel, not designed or apportioned or comfort. No chair, no table, no closet, no towel hangers, no floor lamp, no fridge, no microwave, etc. Very poor interior room lighting, poor bathroom lighting, very poor interior hallway lighting, hard mattress, thin walls, heard upstairs footsteps. Only good thing was property location and common area lounge furniture decor. Parking was $35 per night. Overall, a poor value for the money spent. Never again."
