"The location of the Excelsior is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples. If you have the port side rooms you wake up to Vesuvius across the Bay and can watch its many moods throughout the day. On the roof top terrace you can watch the lights turn on in the city and see Vesuvius become a presence that is hard to ignore. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and we needed it after 12 days of negotiating the cobblestone streets of the Amalfi Coast, averaging 6 miles a day, and we're senior citizens! This hotel holds a special place in my heart. The breakfast alone is worth staying here! The staff was super nice. The hotel is a piece of old Italian luxury and has to be experienced."

He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, make you feel special, and ensure your evening is one to remember. His energy, warmth, attention, and genuine care completely elevated our experience. Vincenzo is truly one of those people you remember long after your vacation is over. That said, the entire staff was equally wonderful and contributed to an incredible stay. We had such a great time and left feeling that Hotel Mary offers something truly special.
