A nice clean property for a quick one night stay
Overall a great , clean, spacious property. Room was clean and bright, comfortable beds. Dining and kitchen area is very spacious and spotless. The only thing we didn’t like much was the bathroom situation, two showers in one bathroom so if one person is using shower, you have to wait even though there is another shower in there. It’s also a bit tricky to find the house at night so definitely keep that in mind if you will be arriving late.

Clean. Spacious shared leaving room and kitchen. The bedroom was tiny though. Nice breakfast.

Very nice facility. Great kitchen. Only criticism is the property is lit up outdoors at night like daylight. Room never really dark despite curtains Why? Hard to see the aurora.

Warm and cozy hostel on a farm
The location is on a farm off of the main road. It is very quiet as you are surrounded by fields. House is cozy, spacious, and clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Check-in was easy, be sure to check your email afterwards for the code to the door to get in and put GPS into your phone to find the turn off. Host was very accomodating with anything we needed including towels and coffee. Wifi was fast.

clean and functional
I stayed at South Central Guest House while visiting the golden circle for 2 days and the location was perfect to split the 2 days and after having spent part of the evening at the hidden lagoon. My room had 4 beds. The hostel was very clean and featured a large kitchen with eating area and TV room. The area is very quiet and has a horse farm in the back. I was greeted by a beautiful view of the plain and the mountains in the morning. Do not expect any activity here at night, there is no town in the immediate vicinity. During my stay the owner stopped by and we had a pleasant chat about the area and horse farming. If you are looking for a clean place to spend the night I recommend this hostel.

Outside of Sellfoss ,maybe 10 minutes drive. Big rooms, kitchen and living room. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We would come back

Lantligt guesthouse som kan rekommenderas
Enkelt att hitta boendet, ute på landsbygden. Tyst område. Enkelt att checka in och hitta sitt rum som var enkla och fina. Inga problem med att dela duschutrymme med andra, då det inte var några andra incheckade när vi kom. Stora kök, enorm TV och man fick en väldigt mysig känsla av boendet. Perfekt om man har varit i trakterna kring Geysir, Gullfoss och sen på väg österut eller västerut dagen efter. Kanske skulle ha köpt in något sällskapsspel på engelska?
