"Room was on the second floor, which for me is difficult with a recent fall and bad knees. Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate my request for a downstairs room. Clean room minus the few cockroaches in the bathroom, HUGE TV, decent set up. Tub dripped and toilet ran. Refrigerator needed to be plugged in and had no shelves to put our stuff in. This experience was extremely disappointing as we've stayed here before and it felt like home. As for staff, two polar opposite experiences. Checking in was easy with a warm welcoming experience as she tried her best to accommodate our requests of a lower floor and missing shelves. Check out person didn't feel interested in any interaction whatsoever as she sat reclined watching TV. We did have one last request that was not met either. There is a lovely museum next door that opened shortly before check out. My son requested for me to stay in the room, in the ac with my feet up on the bed as I have deep vein thrombosis and with the extra time sitting in the car swelling and pooling happen. No late checkouts. Period. Well, I can tell you the spirit and energy of this adorable spot has changed. I won't be back to watch slip into closure. Best of luck staying here, it's not awful if you're good with minimal interaction, no requests for your comfort and happy with an upstairs room."
