"Pros:
The location was convenient.
The room was cleaned daily.
Staff was very pleasant.
The AC worked great.
The road noise wasn't terrible at all.
The pool was very well maintained.
The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby.
Cons:
I stayed for 6 nights and the sheets were never changed.
The mop water is not changed between rooms which leaves the floors rather tacky feeling.
On my very last night I found 2 live cockroaches and 1 dead that was under the drawer in the nightstand while packing up.
If it weren't for the roaches I would've given an excellent review and returned on my next visit."
"At check in Alex was very friendly and informative. He provided suggestions for local dining and also how to get to the Shiloh National Battlefield Park.
My room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable.
Would definitely stay there again."
"A friend and I spent the night here while riding the Trans America Trail on our motorcycles. The room we had was really clean. The old vintage tile bathroom was in great shape. It's an old motel, but the owner has done well keeping the rooms clean and fresh. It's in town, so you're within walking distance to several restaurants. Like most old 50's-60's motels, it is on the main drag in the town, so it was just a little noisy at times, but not so much that I wouldn't stay here again. I definitely recommend this place."
"The breakfast was okay. The front lobby and entrance was in a state of remodeling and it and the front desk area is in the breakfast area and the noise and disturbance was pretty bad as all remodeling construction usually is. There was no reduction in price because of it either. Should have been.
Staff was nice and apologized for the situation. Room was okay. Only the area around the front desk and lobby and the breakfast area was under construction. I don't like waling around under where people are working on the ceiling overhead with tools that if dropped would hurt somebody. Probably should have done it different."
"No pet friendly charging $35.00. The breakfast was shameful. Lots of workers there, only hot gravy in a minature crock pot and half cooked buscuits.
My suite had no sitting area. Instead of sofa a king and queen bed."
"The hotel is average just ok. It needs updating in the rooms , more parking spaces and another option to exit onto the main street. The staff were very pleasant and helpful."
