"We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Neighbourhood feel safe. "

"Gym was excellent, wide variety of equipment, one of the best we have experienced for a hotel gym, plus it was 24 hr access which was really useful. Room was large and bed was comfortable, staff seemed very friendly, breakfast was really good as well, plenty of variety. The only slight downside was that it was away from the centre, which I did know about beforehand so I cannot really criticise. The bus stop was right outside and very easy to use. Only 1.5 euros to get to the centre. All in all, an excellent stay and I would recommend to friends."

"Fabulous location! Built in 1937 the property is spacious, all the common areas are beautifully updated. Carpets in stairs and in our room very worn and had tears. The linens were wonderful, bed comfortable, bath typical European. They had signage indicating they were renovating rooms, we just didn’t get one. We would stay again as the location made up for condition."

"A good alternative location for those who don’t wish to stay in Ljubljana town centre or park in town. Bus stop for #14 is a short 2-min walk from the hotel and it takes you close enough to the Old Town and to Tivoli Park. It is also an easy 15-20min drive to Joše Pučnik Airport from the hotel if you are returning your rental car there. The only downside is that there aren’t many dining options immediately in the vicinity and you have drive (3min) or walk (8-10 min) to the closest pizzeria & tavern (called Piazza) which serves good hearty food."

"I had a reservation at the neighboring Eurostars hotel and was upgraded to a room at the Eurostars Union Hotel. The upgraded room had a balcony. The location is ideal. A few steps to Ljubljana’s central square and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, churches, and castle. The Union Hotel is historic and elegant, but with every modern comfort. A grand, sweeping staircase beautifully conserved, with sleek silver elevators beside it. Breakfast buffets are included and exceptional with lots of options for every taste. It is undoubtedly one of the nicest hotels in Ljubljana in the best possible location."
