"The only complaint I have is the breakfast, both days we came down for it there was hardly anything left, and so we had the same 3 things that was out. Barely ate breakfast the last day there so we went to Dennys up the road."
"I reserved a double queen bed room with extra square feet of room. We arrived an hour eary for the 3 oclock check-in and the room was understandably not ready so we waited until 3 oclock for the stated check-in time. The room still not ready. They did try to accomadate us with a room that was smaller, but was not what we reserved. Rooms are so small these days so we elected to wait. Checked back a couple of more times and it wasnt until 3:45 that the desk finally checked to see why the room was not ready. Finally, the desk went to check on the status of room. Confered with another individual in the back office and we finally we able to go to the reserved room around 4pm.
Room was excellent and very clean. The whole building was very clean. Even the windows were recently clean. Dining staff were excellent and very accomadating. Bathrooms near the dining area were very clean.
Nice stay exept for the wait for the room."
"The breakfast is not like it use to be no bacon just sausage all 4 days ….. n the hot tub is not hot enough and kids should be able to use hot tub…. Any hotel or water park allowed kids in don’t understand why there saying 14 n older"
"Very updated building with high quality room furnishings. Sufficient breakfast and even a workout room. Reliable WiFi, and even a freezer/fridge with separate compartments. Very roomy.
Unfortunately also - despite requesting a 2nd floor smoke-free room - penetrating smell of smoke during the night. There is no excuse for this - hotels can restrict (outdoor) smoking areas and enforce them; I asked the staff upon check-in and their stance was "we cannot control what people do outdoors" - this is frankly not true and other hotels CAN control this.
Guests can deal with noise by wearing earplugs, or with unwanted light with eye masks, but odors cannot be mitigated. The management is sadly missing a huge opportunity with a great property in a good location and will likely squander the fruits of their recent renovations. I will not stay here again."
"The property is within walking distance of a number of food places so that's a plus. Also has a shopping area close by. Property is nice and clean.
The breakfast biscuits were chef's kiss.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We left for the airport around 2 a.m. and we were met with a smile and bubbly personality at the Front Desk."
"We had a bit of confusion with our reservation that we made through expedia but the hotel management helped us to make it right. After that the room they put us in had a plugged pipe in the sink, which was giving off a horrible odor. I reported it to the manager and they offered to move us - which we did NOT want. Then they had maintenance come the very next day (earliest possible) to correct the problem. Staff was very friendly and good to work with. The maintenance man called me personally to explain and even left a note to apologize for the inconvenience- which was very thoughtful. Overall, very happy with this stay- breakfast was good and staff was great!!"
