We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms, and waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature with morning light filtering through the spruce trees was nothing short of magical. The location is ideal—just minutes from downtown Seward, the harbor, and Exit Glacier, but far enough away to feel private and serene. Whether you’re headed out for a wildlife cruise, glacier hike, or just exploring Resurrection Bay, Spruce Lodge is the perfect home base. 💤 Highlights: Super comfortable beds and high-quality linens Spotless bathrooms and great water pressure (a must after a long hike!) "What a fantastic place to stay! Room was so comfy and clean. Had a cute mid sized fridge and attached bathroom. The kitchen in the house was so well stocked and had everything...and then some. It was so nice waking up and not having to worry or rush to get breakfast. Loved having the private entrance. Parking was good and it is so close to the waterfront playground and skateboard park, which my grandkids adored. They were super reaponsive to texts when I had some questions. Totally recommend staying here! "
