Peaceful mountain stay

"Nestled in a stunning wilderness setting yet conveniently close to town, this location offers a perfect blend of nature and accessibility. The on-site restaurant’s prices are steep, though the included breakfast was exceptional and a highlight of the stay. The room was clean, but the hot tub was disappointingly dirty and unusable. Would stay again."

"Self check-in instructions were communicated in advance and easy to follow. Rooms were basic, but very clean and adequate for our needs. It was nice to have access to the kitchen and laundry. WiFi worked well. There is an easy but somewhat steep hike to a lovely waterfall right behind the property. Our only "complaint" was that the cruise ship port was directly across the street. Instead of being able to listen to sounds of nature like birds and rain, we heard the ship running all night and the captain's announcements in the morning. It's just a minor complaint and the Guesthouse has no control over it, but I feel it's worth mentioning. Obviously it wouldn't be an issue on days when there's no ship in the port."

"It's cozy, room was nothing too special but totally fine for 4 of us (we had the room with 5 twin beds). We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was pretty good and included. I had read another review where someone said they ran out of food by 8:30 (it's served 6-9) but there seemed to be a lot of guests when we stayed (parking lot completely full) and yet plenty of breakfast. I arrived to breakfast at 8:30, my wife and kids actually got there by 8:55 and the staff was kind and let them eat too. Great stay."
