The hotel is so amazing. It’s so beautiful like the ancient chinese palace and you can take the beautiful pic within the hotel.

Expedia say that has hotel shuttle to the airport and they do not have it we had wait many hours at the airport and when we call they say that it dose not have that service. And other disappointed thing is that the Hotel dose not had air condition working at the two rooms we had

Dear guest: sorry for give you unhappy experience. We do not provide the airport shuttle and only provide the Disney shuttle on Sat & Sun. And we had also update the information on Expedia web. About the air condition, as the winter season in China, we provide the warm air condition in room. We are awfully sorry for you again.

Close to the train station. It is quite convenient to travel to the Pudong International Airport and Shanghai Disney from the hotel. The room is huge with lots of packing space. Spacious enough for families.

Smart, clean, functional. Service was poor. I’m not sure if it was because I was foreign or because I was female, but the service was lax, slow and not remotely enthusiastic.

The infrastructure and garden was beautiful. Best looking hotel I've stayed in. However, one day is enough. the room is old and the bathroom is rotten due to years of leaking. nothing to do near by. a train station is very close but takes 30minutes to get to downtown. one buffet and one Chinese restaurant inside the hotel but over priced and not so good. I've had better hotel food at other hotels in shanghai.

The Hotel is truly Excellent .
The Receptionist and Manager Jamie ensured everything for our stay was absolutely perfect . The hotel buildings , rooms and facilities are truly of the highest standard really impressive .

Great hotel near PVG
We stayed one night prior to next morning's flight out. The room was very spacious with high ceilings. Spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub. The refrigerator was stocked and complimentary drinks. The back leads to a beautiful manicured garden. The hotel offers free airport shuttle to Shanghai Pudong Airport. It would be a great place to stay and relax if one needs to be close to the airport.

Beautiful property. New, but made to look like old temple. I was there just overnight before flying out of PVG the next morning. Close to PVG and Shanghai Disney.

Great stay more than once not far from Shanghai Pu
The staff is excellent and we loved the buffet. This is an elegant hotel not too far from Shanghai Pudong Airport. We had serious delays with flights coming in and were fortunate to find this hotel. Rooms are nice and staff is terrific!

This hotel is perfect. If I will be in Shanghai again I will stay there again. The setting is perfect, the garden breath taking, I am thankful I had a chance to experience this beautiful hotel. The breakfast was super. Overall a 10. Also the hotel is only a few steps from the metro.

Biz trip
Business trip to visit the tradeshow nearby(15minsvia taxi). Hotel is very grand, new & deco like a palace. Nice landscape with waterfall & birds chirping in the garden. Room is spacious & bed is comfortable,loaded with water, soft drinks & beer for free. Staff service is good with no issue getting taxi out. Decent food selection but surrounding is really nothing to walk about. There is a MTR station about 5 mins walk though.

Nice hotel - it looks like a park
it's a nice hotel with very beautiful garden - it's like a park and takes more than hour to see all round of the hotel. However, there is nothing around of the hotel and only three buses to Pudong airport per day.

A Chinese style hotel with beautiful grounds!
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was large and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and nice hot shower. Breakfast was included, and it turned out to be a sumptuous meal. The staff was there to please. After breakfast we had a stroll around the beautifully landscaped grounds , and even climbed up the rock gardens! This hotel is near Disneyland in Shanghai, so it’s a favorite place for families with kids. Our room was next to a big family with 2 rooms, so there was some door banging and kids running along the hallways. Also, it’s not close to town, but there’s a subway station right across the street. All in all, we liked the hotel very much, it’s close to Pudong Airport, and perfect for us for an overnight in Shanghai. We will stay there again.

One of the best hotels in the world!
I wanted us to be in a hotel that was "old school" in design. This hits the mark and more. Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. Consistently polite and helpful despite limited English.

I have bad experience for staying this hotel. 1. The front desk lady is not very friendly, I used my credit card to pay the deposit, it was not retured, I need to get my money back, can you help? 2. The guy by the door, to help open the door, help us to ordered a car to airport, he did not tell us how much to cost, the car picked us from the hotel, to pudong airport, he asked super high price for us to pay. Probably three times more than normal cost.

Beautiful hotel, great stay
Nice not to be in a big modern hotel that looks like any other. Great room, great location 20 minutes ($20 cab ride) from Pudong airport. Would be nice if staff spoke a little more English but I got by. More of a ‘real’ experience

Review
Just staying as lay over between flights. The grounds were beautiful, the service was great. It was a little further from the airport then written on website, but was worth the money to get there. Would definitely stay again.

Exceptional property, service, location!!!
This hotel was EXCEPTIONAL! Not very many reviews as it’s a brand new hotel. All the staff were excellent, check in a breeze. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We flew into Shanghai, got on the Metro to our exit, which was right across the street from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was beyond believable! It actually felt like a Disney property, looks, service, atmosphere! We chose this hotel because it was so close to Shanghai Disneyland.

Beautiful Hotel
Really lovely hotel. Room was fantastic, modern, lage and stylish. Hotel was a little further away from the airport than I was expecting - but taxis are cheap in Shanghai. If I'd known how nice to hotel was going to be, I would have made an effort to arrive earlier than I did as I would have gone to the spa. Arrived around 8pm and the restaurants were beginning to close as hotel was very quiet. Conciege couldnt do enough to help me order a taxi to the airport for the following day.

Good experience for Westerners
IF you want a different Hotel experience in China this is the place to stopover in Shanghai close to Pudong Airport . Hotel is new and more of Village as its not high rise with very Chinese design couldn’t fault hotel and even arrived at 9.30am and told early checkin was no problem .While most staff don’t speak English they more than make up for it with they enthusiasm and helpfulness which totally changed my impression of China if you get the chance stay in Executive King room as its huge Amazing western and Chinese food is available on site . Truely an experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
