"Conveniently located in Sandown close to the shops and restaurants. Car park is free if you are a guest with plenty of room. Very welcoming staff (young lady with Tattoos) gave me all the relevant information and very engaging. The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. Breakfast offering in the morning was cooked and continental, juices, coffee and tea. I had a great stay and good value for money."

"As a base for exploring the island The Fig Tree was a good choice. The staff were pleasant ,the room clean and comfortable, without being large. Continental Breakfast choice was adequate without having the range of a larger property, and the cooked breakfasts were good. The esplanade and a friendly pub, serving a small range of good food options on 3 nights per week were within easy walking distance,"

"We had a lovely three night stay at Sandhill with a nice comfy room which was very clean and with all essential amenities. Host Dave was very friendly and helpful and served excellent breakfasts. Good base for visiting lots of nearby island places. A nice unusual touch was they permit one to order/bring back an evening take-away meal to eat in their breakfast room. We would be very happy to stay here when next on the island!"

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."
